“We are living in unprecedented times”, “In this new normal that we’re living in”…

Yes, COVID has changed the entire world and it will be a while for us to get back to ‘normal’, whatever that was.  Some businesses will actually thrive from the changes caused by COVID but most will at the very least feel some pain and set-back.  If your business falls in the latter you must constantly be asking how you can get back on track.  One way is to advertise.  Now this is no stump speech trying to drum up more business (well, maybe a little) but think about this…if both you and your competitors are sitting tight waiting for things to change then neither are gaining ground.  But if one of you (and it should be you) starts promoting your business even a little more than you have been the advantage will go to you.  It’s impossible to grow your business at any time by NOT letting your potential customers know you’re there for them.  

If this doesn’t make sense, research how Lee Iacocca changed the automobile landscape in the 80’s by advertising while GM and Ford sat virtually idle.  And he knew his back was against the wall to pay back the government loan he had acquired to salvage Chrysler!
